Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Journal of Educational Research and Assessment is a self-supporting organization and do not receive funding from any individual, institution or government. Hence, the journal's operation is solely financed by the processing fees received from authors. APC covers several expenses, like peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, archiving and other publication costs. Authors will be requested to make payment only when their manuscript has been accepted for publication by the editors. The article processing fee is paid by the author's research grant or their supporting institution.

 

The article processing charges for JERA is $400 (USD)

 

Our waiver policy grants discounts of varying degrees to authors based on the income level of their countries.

 

To apply for a waiver or inquire about payment, please email accounts@insightjournals.org. The waiver application should include the manuscript number and the reason for requesting a waiver.

 

Printed Copies

 

Printed copies of the published article (s) are available based on request from the author(s). The book format will include articles from other issues of the journal. The cost per printed book is 40 USD, excluding delivery costs.

 

Refund Policy

 

The journal is dedicated to maintaining transparent financial transactions and refund policies for authors submitting manuscripts for publication. Article Processing Charges are required after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

 

There are no refunds or cancellations of charges if an author withdraws his or her manuscript from consideration, or if they decline to revise and resubmit. There are no refunds once the manuscript is published. The journal invests substantial resources in manuscript processing, editorial and peer-review, technical support, and administrative services.

 

Only in exceptional cases will a refund be considered. Below are some of the conditions:

 

The basis for the application is duplicate payment or overcharging.

When the authors made payments for manuscripts that have not been accepted.
